Acknowledgements
DiaperFreeBaby recognizes the contributions of two pivotal DiaperFree-
Baby volunteers who retired in 2007: Leadership Council members Robin
Hagerty and Katherine Abbey.
Robin built and maintained the new DiaperFreeBaby website, while also
Mentoring the local Southern California DiaperFreeBaby Group. She
brought a practical, pragmatic voice to the Leadership Council, and as a
long-time member of the EC’ing community, she helped DiaperFreeBaby
find its place within the larger community.
Katherine created and managed the Mentor Support Department, and
brought her carefully cultivated communication skills to the LC and the
greater Mentor community. Under her guidance, the Meeting and Activity
Report (MAR) was created, the Mentor Responsibilities were updated, and
the Mentor Orientation process took root.
Both Robin and Katherine were instrumental in helping shape DiaperFree-
Baby as it grew, and we wish them well in their new endeavors!
DiaperFreeBaby also recognizes the contributions of retiring Mentors and
Contacts from 2006-2007. Their work made local EC support a reality for
so many people, and helped DiaperFreeBaby to grow and thrive these last few
years. We wish them well wherever life
takes them next!
