Feis brings bit o’ Irish

SanTan Sun helps sponsor Irish dance, singing event
Championship dancers and younger
age-level dancers compete at 8 a.m. Sat.,
Jan. 19 at the 18th Annual Feis in the
Desert, an Irish step-dance competition,
at Crowne Plaza San Marcos Golf Resort
in Chandler. Beginning at 9 a.m. on
Sun., Jan. 20, adults and older age-level
dancers compete.
Pronounced “fesh,” the event features
competitors from across the United States and Canada. This year’s theme is
“Dancing Under the Sun,” and the SanTan Sun News is sponsoring the vocal
competition as well as the main stage.
