CORK: Owners Robert and Danielle Morris, who have an accomplished 25-year
background in the food and beverage industry, bring a new American “small plate”
cuisine to the Promenade at Fulton Ranch. As a result, the smaller portions come
with smaller prices as well. Robert, left, has worked at Lon’s at the Hermosa,
Barcelona and Kona Grill, and Danielle is a pastry chef who has also worked at Lon’s
and Renoir at the Mirage Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas. Currently, Robert and Danielle
are part owners in Stax Burger Bistro in Scottsdale.
With Brian Peterson, Cork’s executive chef/co-owner, they also feature a
250-selection wine list in a climate controlled wine room, offer a champagne Sunday
brunch and happy hour is coming soon. Located at 4491 S. Alma School Rd., Suite
1, in Southern Chandler, Cork is open from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday, 11 a.m. to 10

V’S BARBERSHOP: Newly opened V’s Barbershop specializes in men’s haircuts
and also provides shaves, facials, massages and even professional shoe shines.
Manager Jerome Vanderhoof runs the shop at the Promenade at Fulton Ranch for
“Mr. V,” owner Jimmy Valenzuela. This is the fi fth V’s Barbershop in the Valley, and
franchises are available. Open from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday and 8
