Certified Professional Coder Prep Class (Instructor-directed)
This Certified Professional Coder (CPC) Prep Class is designed to help you with all the skills

needed to prepare for national certification testing. The objective is to provide you with the

necessary material and the instructor’s experience to help you prepare for successful certification.
AL EDUC ■ This course is user friendly and includes many practice quizzes to take and retake to help you

master the material. Completion of Intermediate Coding or one year work experience.

Medical Office Skills (Self-paced class)
■ Learn medical office skills in a self-paced environment offering a variety of subjects. Choose

one of the following: Medical Filing, Medical Math, Medical Transcription, and Medical
Office Procedures. Medical Office Procedures is group class which includes HIPAA

confidentiality, transcribing chart notes, filing, and making appointments using Medisoft®.

Prerequisite: Medisoft® and Completion of Medical Terminology. Anatomy/Physiology is

highly recommended. Select a maximum of two subjects at registration.
