You can also use this stamp to make a
photo overlay. I just stamped my image
with Stazon ink onto a piece of
transparency. Remember to stamp on the
rough side. When it was dry I used some
acrylic paints (again on the rough side) to
color in my images. Let dry. Then turn it
over and use on your project as your very
own overlay. Very quick, very easy and
much more cost effective then purchasing
premade ones.
So you see, stamps are really very budget
friendly. There are so many different ways
to use them and incorporate them into
your paper crafts. Just think out of the
box and you can stretch those scrappy
dollars!!
For this next idea…I used the flower
stamp with pigment ink and added some
clear embossing powder. I heat
embossed my image and then cut it out, Check out the Ezine
both around the outside and the inside of
the flower. I adhered my cut image onto each month for some
some pretty patterned paper and then cut
out once more. This gives a totally great money saving
different look to this same stamp. I chose
to heat emboss it because it gives the
paper a firmer feel to it as you are cutting tips from Jenn!
it out. But you certainly don’t have to if
you don’t want to.
