Medical center’s garden promotes healing
As a result of a shared philosophy of “surrounding
patients, families and neighbors with an atmosphere
of healing for the mind, body and spirit,” Mercy Gilbert
Medical Center named its soon-to-be-completed
garden the Gila River Indian Community Healing
Garden. Construction of the garden, scheduled to
open in January 2009, is made possible through a $1
million gift from the Gila River Indian Community for
Mercy Gilbert’s Tower B expansion.
