There are also considerations for companies in the manufacturing sector, to rationalize and optimize the energy
consumption of electric motors; a single 2.5kW motor running at full capacity will save $500 per year compared
to a 10kW motor running at 25 percent, or reducing the speed of a motor by just 20 percent can produce
energy savings of 50 percent.
