Hotels4U.com unveils XML booking system
Hotels4U.com has launched a new agent booking
system featuring an expanded product range and
improved search capability. The new XML system
offers agents more than 10,000 new hotels
worldwide, including in the UK. Third-party beach
products have also been expanded to include
Thailand, Goa, Gambia, regional France and Italy.

■ Abta and FTO to move to London Bridge
Abta and the FTO have confirmed they are
moving to new premises at London Bridge in
January. The associations, which merged in July
2008 and have a total of 70 employees, have
signed a lease agreement for 30 Park Street.

■ Flyglobespan hits £40m with RAF leasing deal
Flyglobespan has signed its second leasing deal
with the Ministry of Defence that will see it
operate a Boeing 767 300ER between RAF Brize
Norton and Qatar for five months from December,
and supply crew for the service. It follows a
separate deal with the MoD to operate a service
between Brize Norton and the Falkland Islands.
Those two contracts, plus other leasing deals, are
worth £40 million in revenue to the airline.
■ Traveltek to double sales team by January
Traveltek, the travel technology supplier, is to
double its sales team by the end of the year with
the creation of seven positions. Three new regional
sales account executives will bring the team up
to seven, led by sales director Frank Docherty.
■ Free Emirates flights for agents
Emirates is offering agents the
