Day 10 Finals Day
an
First in action were LX against
S Germany B who drew 2 - 2 meaning
that LX are the Tournament Trophy
winners. Next up were England GGM
against Australia in a thrilling game
of hockey. After full time the score
was 0-0. Under the WGMA rules 2
x 10 minutes extra time was played
with a golden goal rule but after the
20 minutes it was still stalemate
at 0-0. That meant penalty flicks!
After the first barrage of five it was
still all square but unfortunately for
England the Australians managed
to put one more into the goal in the
second barrage to end up winners
and gold medallists. England took
the Silver. Lastly it was England
GM v Australian GM where England
reaped revenge and came out clear
winners at 4 - 1.
