Juniors
Alliance Formed to Improve
Junior Golf in Virginia

Attn: Youth Golfers -
After two meetings and lots of discussion a group of state golf
leaders have come together to form an alliance to improve several
aspects of junior golf in Virginia.
The group was formed by VCU golf coach Matt Ball who was

Areas that seem to be lacking are playing opportunities in the
off-season (September to May), and the lack of an actual blueprint
golf tournament
or road map for juniors and parents to follow when an interest is
shown.
Attendees of the meetings included golf professionals, golf
association administrators, junior tour administrators, college and
high school coaches, and others with ties to junior golf in Virginia.
