The Clark Development Corp
has closed bidding for the
privatization of the former
Mimosa Leisure Estate.
Only two out of 10
prospective bidders, Waterfront
Philippines and a Korean
consortium led by Hanwool I&D
Corp, submitted bids to lease,
operate the estate in the Clark
Freeport Zone.
CDC said Waterfront
Philippines submitted a
compliant bid and is now the
subject of evaluation and post-
qualification assessment.
The Korean consortium was
disqualified during the bidding.
On June 10, the group filed a
motion for reconsideration.
The tender will be awarded
after a special committee
submits its recommendation
after the results of the bid
evaluation, post-qualification
are officially released.
