FACEPLATE ORDERING INSTRUCTIONS
Jotto Desk offers a wide selection of faceplates for mounting various radio, light, siren,
CB, radar and other types of equipment control heads. The following information will help
you in understanding how to select the appropriate faceplate(s).
• A faceplate is defined as a metal bracket designed to fit around specific radio, light,
siren, CB, radar and other control heads and mount to the console’s faceplate rails.
• All Jotto Desk console purchases include your choice of faceplates to fill out the console
faceplate opening. Blanks or blanks with knockouts may be used to total up the necessary
inches to fill the console space up. All consoles specify the amount of faceplate inches
they accept.
• Select faceplates according to the pieces of equipment you are mounting and total up
the number of inches as indicated in the Size column in the faceplate guide. If you are
short, then select from the blanks to fill up the console. If you are over, call your Sales
Manager to discuss options.
• Faceplates ordered individually or in excess of the console inches will be charged
according to the price list. Accessories that insert into the console faceplate mounting
area are not considered faceplates and are charged accordingly.
• We will issue a faceplate credit for redemption later if you do not know what faceplates
you need at time of consoles shipping.
• If you do not see a faceplate listed for your specific piece of equipment measure your
existing piece using our faceplate mounting sheet on the facing page and cross-reference
the dimensions against the measurements in the faceplate guide. If you do not find a
faceplate that will work, fax the faceplate mounting sheet to Technical Support or your
Sales Manager at 479-936-8620 along with your contact information and we’ll work with
you to determine how to best mount the equipment in question.
• If you order the wrong faceplate and want to return it you must call for an RGA number.
You will be responsible for the freight; however, if we make the mistake then we will take
care of shipping costs.
