MS
Model MS is a basic, fully rotary, cast iron and brass hand pump for diesel, paraffi n
and oil transfer. Supplied with 25mm outlet spout, 30mm x 1000mm rigid riser
tube, barrel adaptor, strainer stand and operating handle. It should not pump water,
petrol, chemicals, solvents or products with a low fl ash point.
Model LP is a high output, fully rotary, alloy and aluminium hand pump for unleaded
ROT
LP
petrol, diesel, paraffi n and low viscosity oil transfer. Supplied with an outlet spout,
1000mm riser tube, barrel adaptor, strainer, operating handle and 1 metre discharge
POLY
pipe. It should not pump water, chemicals, or solvents.
The Poly and Ryton
®
models are lightweight, fully rotary pumps for chemical
resistance. The Tefl on
®
model is of a similar design, but for extremely aggressive
RYTON
®
chemicals and solvents and highly concentrated acids and alkalis up to 100%.
Supplied with 19mm outlet pipe, 3 part (390mm) intake tube (assembles to
1200mm), barrel adaptor and operating handle. Alternative adaptors are available,
as an optional extra, to enable use of pump on a barrel/container without a 2” BSPf
TEFLON
®
connection.
Poly: polypropylene construction, phenolic vanes, Viton® seals, polyethylene fl ange
gaskets. Suitable for water based solutions of acids, alkalis and salts, some organic
solvents, water and all petroleum products.

Static electricity may be generated by the operation of rotary pumps. In order to
prevent sparking caused by static build-up, when pumping fl ammable liquids an
insulated bonding wire must be used i.e. the container must be grounded to earth
by means of a conductive earthing lead, fastened between the container and a
suitable grounded earth point.
