JET BOOSTERS
The JCR series are single stage, self-priming pumps with 304 stainless steel bodies,
and plastic venturis and impellers. They have 416 stainless steel shafts, fi tted with
carbon ceramic and NBR mechanical seals and have A.C., TEFV, IP44 motors,

but neither power leads nor switches are supplied. Single phase motors incorporate
an overload protection device. They are designed for pumping clean water only at a
maximum temperature of 40ºC, and should not be allowed to run dry, but by fi tting

an optional pressure controller (see page 46) they can be protected from this and
✔ Wash-down 1¼" (32mm) inlet
also start and stop them automatically. Maximum recommended suction lift, when ✔ Irrigation ■ clean water
primed, is 7 metres. For best results we recommend that a foot-valve and strainer

should be fi tted to the end of the suction hose. This is included with our 4 metre and

7 metre suction kits. These are available as an optional extra and include a pump
coupling, which is factory fi tted to the hose, for a vital, airtight connection. They offer

a wide pressure range for light industrial boosting purposes, while their low operating
■ 400 volts
noise, low power consumption make them popular for a variety of domestic and
horticultural applications.
