CX series, sewage cutter pumps, comply with the ATEX directive 94/9/EC and
have explosion proof motors. ATEX classifi cation is Eexd-IIB-T4-II-2-G.
They are intended for use in potentially explosive atmospheres created

by gases, mists and vapours. They are classifi ed for use in Group II areas
(surface industries, but not mining), and Category 2-G gases (“hazardous
atmospheres… likely… for short periods”). They are of a cast iron construction
