The BX series comply with the ATEX directive 94/9/EC and hence have
explosion proof motors. Their ATEX classifi cation is Eexd-IIB-T4-II-2-G.
They are intended for use in potentially explosive atmospheres created
by gases, mists and vapours. They are classifi ed for use in Group II areas
(surface industries, but not mining), and Category 2-G gases (“hazardous

The latter includes a pedestal, guide hook, top bracket and lifting chain, but not
rails. Supplied with 10 metres of heavy duty, H07RN-F rubber power cable
