Fog is settling over fallen leaves as weird creatures lurk in the dark: Terenzi Horror Nights are back at
Europa-Park. From September 27 to November 2. Germany’s leading theme park will be
transformed with more than 150,000 pumpkins, 2,000 bales of straw and 200 skeletons, not to
mention a full cast of witches, goblins, ghosts and demons. The park’s Eurosat indoor rollercoaster
will even be transformed into a giant pumpkin!
During the last week of the season, from October 25 to November 2, things get especially creepy during
the big Halloween Festival, when a special evening ticket will be available. Making a guest appearance
during this time will be DJ Bobo. A Halloween highlight for the whole family, however, is the Happy
Halloween Parade with more than 80 artists in spooky costumes playing tricks visitors.
Terenzi Horror Nights are named after the American singer Marc Terenzi, who helps produce the event
alongside Europa-Park’s Michael Mack.
Ocean Park
Now in its eight year, Ocean Park’s
Halloween Bash was due to cement its
reputation as Asia’s biggest and freakiest
Halloween party when it started again on
September 26.
The “celebration” features more than
300 ghouls, ghosts and zombies, spread
across eight haunted houses, nine shows
and three scare zones – Wicked Wild West,
Deconstruction Zone and The
Subterranean Spiritland. Inspired by
frightful tales of both a local and international nature, each of this year’s
haunted houses comes complete with its own master and mistress.
