Most Ashley Park residents are first- time buyers because, according to Weatherford, purchasing one of these units typically costs about the same as renting. Buyers also have the option to add a bonus room in the garage area. Construction on the first phase of Ashley Park Townhomes began in 2005, and phase II is near completion. The units range from 1,200 square feet to 1,560 square feet and are priced from the mid-$160s to $180s. Being built by Manorhouse Builders, Ashley Park Townhomes will consist of 350 units when all six phases of construction are finished. Homeowner association fees at Ashley Park Townhomes certainly are reason- able. Less than $50 a month takes care
of maintenance, termite bond and yearly exterior power-washing.
