Newport and Preselis
Newport, on the edge of the Preseli hills is an attractive, bustling coastal town. It boasts both a
Norman Castle and Church, which stand proudly above this small medieval town on the slopes of
Carn Ingli Mountain.
The Preseli Hills are home to the bluestones of Stonehenge as well as stone circles, Iron Age
earthworks and burial chambers.
Walking in the Preseli Hills makes
a refreshing interlude from the
stunning coast path. The views
from the tops seem to go on
forever.
