TEA FOR TWO
Designed with students in mind, the 2 Person Cooking Space by recent industrial
design graduate Tommy Chen is a nifty, compact, mobile kitchen for those who live in
accommodation where personal space is at a premium. The unit is extremely flexible with
many hidden compartments and storage solutions. The two main storage boxes can be used
to store tableware, but can also double up as two handy seats for dining. There is an internal
drawer with separate storage space for any condiments or herbs and spices. This could be
the perfect solution for students who are looking for a way to stop their housemates from
dirtying their crockery and using their food supplies, simply put everything into your compact
kitchen and wheel the entire thing into your bedroom!

CHASING WATERFALLS
As part of a class assignment Logi Hrafn Kristjánsson was set the
task of designing a bathroom basin. Whereas many of his fellow
classmates chose to use newer more versatile materials for their
designs such as Corian, Logi decided to stick to the more traditional
option of ceramic, but to instead employ a modern and sleek design.
Inspired by the many waterfalls of his native country Iceland, the
basic form of the Snorri sink is a simple basin with cut out edges.
The upper surface of the basin is formed in such a way that any
water that leaks onto it will in fact run back into the basin. Snorri
was obviously not designed to cope with heavy water usage but
constitutes an elegant basin nonetheless.
