Centennial Scholarship Fund
Developing excellence, supporting our students
In 2009 we will celebrate 100 years of business education at UCD. Over this time our graduates have been leaders of Irish business
and society, greatly contributing to the economic success of this country. To ensure we can continue to develop the school — and most
importantly our students — we now need your help. Just 50% of university funding comes from the Government, so we rely on the
generosity and vision of our donors to ensure our business students receive all the skills required to excel on a global stage.
To this end, UCD School of Business is launching the Centennial Scholarship Fund. One of the key aims of the fund is to support those
students who might not otherwise be in a position to access third and fourth-level education. In particular it will focus on doctoral
studies in order to help us further develop the academic excellence that is required for today’s knowledge economy.
As an alumnus you can play an important role in developing and supporting business education in Ireland. This autumn we will be
launching our first telephone fundraising campaign for the Centennial Scholarship Fund. If you receive a call from one of our students,
do please take the time to listen to how you can help. Alternatively you can simply donate via the form below. Your help is crucial to
support our role in shaping the business leaders of tomorrow.
