Ornit launches new multigrip
rivet
Ornit Blind Rivets has launched the Ornilock M6527P, a
structural multigrip rivet which has a grip range of
2mm to 22.5mm.
The Ornilock M6527P was designed by Ornit in 2007, due
to numerous inquiries for a rivet with a longer grip range
but with the strength and reliability of the Orlock rivet 4.8
– 7.8mm diameter, which featured a double locking system
and a patented design, and was originally designed for the
automotive industry.
Ornit’s solution was to improve the Ornilock grip range
which until then had a range of up to 15.9mm. Ornilock has
qualities such as internal locking mechanism, multi grip
performance and reduced inventory. The Ornilock has a high
shear and tensile strength with a guaranteed flush break
and multigrip capabilities.
“The response from Ornits customers was excellent and we
are looking forward to the success of the Ornilock M6527P.”
