S.M.A.R.T Srl
14F19
S.M.A.R.T was founded in 2001. Up to that time, the company says,
all secondary operation machinery used old technology,
characterised by complicated set-up procedures and high
wearing areas, requiring heavy and expensive
maintenance.
Moreover, the mechanical complexity required very long set
up times, high maintenance costs and real productivity lost. In
this climate, S.M.A.R.T got the encouragement to design and
to manufacture a totally new machine range, able to satisfy
the end users’ needs and to address properly the continuous
evolution of the actual market.
The Smart philosophy, based on simple but fundamental
concepts, such as simplicity, construction modularity and,
above all, the use of the new technologies, which it says has
led to it achieving advantages such as total automation of the
set up, total stability, and total reliability during the production
process.
S.M.A.R.T says that due to its innovative solutions and close
cooperation with its customers, it has allowed it to create a
‘New Generation’ of machines (from M2 up to M48).
