SASPI builds in process monitor
At WIRE 2008, SASPI will be introducing for the first time at a show
in Europe, one of its new Thread Rollers with a graphic process
monitor integrated into the machine touch screen.
Load sensors have been designed and mounted into the machine
frame. This allows for greater and more accurate signal strength. Having
the process monitor on the machine’s touch screen controls simplifies
the monitoring. The touch screen control combined with the process
monitor is very user friendly, which is important to Saspi’s customers.
For several years, Saspi has been working with its customers to develop
and set up a process monitor and sensors that would be integrated into
the machine.
“We realise that process monitoring is not new, but believed there was
a need to make it simple and part of the machine.”
