With nearly 20 years’ experience in the travel industry, RWA is well positioned to deliver reservation
and dynamic packaging solutions for tour operators and wholesalers as well as airlines who package
their flight seats with hotel and other ground products.
Founded in 1989, RWA worked initially in the finance sector developing solutions for major banks such
as Credit Suisse and Lloyds TSB. Building robust and critical enterprise solutions soon helped it enter
the travel sector where early customers included MyTravel, TUI, Going Places, Scandinavian Airlines
and Cosmos.
Initially RWA developed online booking solutions that integrated with the reservation systems of major
tour operators. Then in 2003 it launched Sell-It Online, the first product in its Sell-It Suite that would
soon evolve into a complete end-to-end solution.
Sell-It Suite is a family of products for operators, intermediaries and online agencies. It drew on
RWA’s extensive experience of working with a wide variety of travel companies and its proven
technical and product delivery skills. The core module, Sell-It Reservator, supports the evolving
leisure market with flexibility in sourcing inventory, dynamic packaging and multi-channel distribution.
Sell-It Online has powerful browsing, searching and booking capabilities for online distribution. Sell-It
XML Gateway facilitates product distribution via XML and web services to 3rd party websites.
Sell-It Reservator has three core modules – Inventory Manager, Bookings Manager and Finance
Manager. Inventory Manager supports a wide variety of components including charter, scheduled and
low cost flights, rail, ferries, hotels, villas, apartments, car rental, transfers, excursions, ski packs,
insurance and other supplements. Availability, costs and selling prices can be loaded and managed
within Sell-It Reservator and combined with inventory from 3rd parties. Bookings Manager is a
comprehensive call centre module with powerful sales, fulfillment and reporting capabilities and critical
tasks have been automated with in-built workflow and reporting options. The Finance module is a
complete multi-currency, financial management solution for travel products and which can interface
with Sage, Oracle Financials and other accounting packages.
As a new generation product, Sell-It Suite offers a flexible solution, capable of handling dynamic as
well as pre-packaged holidays. With real time links to GDSs and low cost carriers, Eurostar,
Eurotunnel and ferry operators, Sell-It Suite is suitable for traditional package tour operators, self-drive
and camping specialists, city and short break providers and adventure operators. The largest Sell-It
Suite customer is a major global travel provider that uses the complete portfolio to sell and administer
its vacation packages through 2,000 agents in 22 countries, a true multi-currency, multi-market and
multi-channel solution. Other customers include Driveline Europe (now owned by AA Travel), High &
Wild, Ski Company Ltd and Magic Breaks, owned by Co-op Travelcare.
Kulula.com, South Africa’s leading low fare airline, has recently launched Kulula Holidays using Sell-It
Suite. This deployment demonstrates Sell-It Suite’s ability to support airlines wanting to dynamically
package, sell and fulfil ground based products with airline seats.
Sell-It Suite is a fully scalable, highly resilient enterprise solution that meets the demanding
requirements of today’s travel business. The loading of complex contracts and deals is assisted by
pricing wizards, special offer panels and support for other complex pricing. These wizards are
complemented by user driven views and reports.
With Sell-It Suite, RWA has established itself as a supplier of core reservation systems for enterprise
level tour operators and travel wholesalers. As the business and distribution model continues to
change, Sell-It Suite offers a flexible alternative to the more traditional and legacy systems that have
dominated the market for so long.
