Rotam Group, Agrochemical Division
SALES & MARKETING MANAGER
UK and Northern Europe
Flexible UK base with regular travel Attractive salary, bonus, car & benefits
T
his is a unique opportunity to join a successful, profitable and very financially sound post-patent products company and establish
their first European presence. The Rotam Group operates in Life Sciences & Food Retail across 54 countries with the
Agrochemical Division headquartered in Hong Kong. It is well known for its range of post-patent agrochemical products and
provides a wholly integrated service across R&D, manufacturing, product registration, marketing and technical support with well
established operations in the US, Brazil, China and India as well as Africa, Asia and the Middle East. The company is committed to
regulatory investment in the EU, with several compounds registered or in the process of completing registration in the UK and European
markets. Rotam is now preparing to commercialise these products throughout the EU region. The key purpose of this challenging and
newly created role is therefore to develop effective relationships with UK distributors to generate both sales and profits and, ultimately,
to build a pan-European presence for the company that mirrors their success in other parts of the world. The company’s culture is
inherently entrepreneurial and requires a talented and commercially driven sales professional to pro-actively drive the business forward,
supported by excellent technical and financial resources. To match this, you will be a life sciences qualified sales/marketing executive,
with established contacts among UK distributors and a proven record of delivering profitable sales in tough market conditions. First
class communication and interpersonal skills are a must, as well as effective presentation and negotiating skills. An understanding of
markets beyond the UK, particularly in northern Europe, would be very beneficial, as would experience of managing a small
professional team. Prospects for personal development are excellent and are limited only by ability and proven success.
