Welsh Recruitment

Issue 23

Ch…ch…changes

Change has been in the air over the past month.

Gareth Jenkins has been sacked as head coach of Wales. And, the ‘special one’ himself, Jose Mourinho, parted company with Chelsea football club in a move that triggered a spate of people to start looking for a new job.

Indeed, during the week that followed Mourinho’s departure, Fish4Jobs saw a jump of 6% (11,000) in the number of people looking for a new job in what the job site termed the ‘Mourinho Effect’.

Admittedly, it is easier to quit your job when you have the safety of a £12m pay-out from your employer.
However, it does seem that more and more people are opting to look for a new job now rather than wait until the New Year.

In this week’s issue, we offer you even more job listings so that you can get in there early with your application. We also chat to a primary school teacher who has found that working on a temporary basis can offer a really varied experience. And if avoiding a humdrum job is what you really want, why not apply for one of our many call centre positions?

Try something new and interesting.
