PRAISE
Songs of Praise is a musical celebration of
faith that has been shown on the BBC on a
Sunday evening since 1961. For over four
decades the programme has recorded the
changing religious landscape of Britain and
the average audience per week is a healthy
four million.
On September 16th, two weeks into the
2007 Rugby World Cup, a whole programme
was dedicated to rugby and the role of the
sport in people’s lives. Wooden Spoon was
pleased to be featured and asked Jason
Leonard to represent the charity. The day of
filming with local children in Old Deer Park,
Richmond, was great fun for all those who
attended and Presenter, Aled Jones, enjoyed
his run around with Jason, as the picture
above shows. Spoon would like to thank the
