Band 5/6 £19,166 - £31,004 per annum depending on experience and qualifications.

Description:
Mounton House Special School is a Residential Special School for boys between the ages of 11 to 16 with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (E.B.D.). We are looking for a Nurse with established Psychiatric knowledge and experience but with the ability and interest to bring these skills to an E.B.D. Residential School environment.
Primarily the post will involve assessing and meeting the established health requirements of the pupils and to indentify at an early stage any deviation from normal physical, emotional or social needs.
There will be a requirement to liaise with various agencies involved in pupils welfare including Community Doctors, Health Care Teams and Social Services as well as progressing your self development towards treating the increasing number of Psychological/Psychiatric/Mental Health problems experienced by some of our pupils.
This is an important role within a challenging environment, therefore any experience in child and adolescent mental health or in an educational organization would be advantageous and you will be preferably R.N. (Mental Health) qualified.
